Then difference between two squares of integers roots should never be an integer?
Let us assume that the answer is no. But I thought I'd see what people think. What I mean is that there may be, sqrt (A) – sqrt (B) = C, where A and B are not perfect squares, and A is not equal to B, and C is any positive number. The reason I ask is because I was doing a little math for yourself, and, for example: sqrt (1326) – sqrt (2) is approximately equal to 35. I noted A and B must be integers, and simply place is not perfect.
You can see that if A = (2 + SQRT2) ^ 2 and B = (1 + sqrt 2) ^ 2 becomes the following: sqrt (A) – Sqrt (B) = [Sqrt (2 + SQRT2) ^ 2] – [sqrt (1 + SQRT2) ^ 2] 2 + SQRT2 – 1 – 2 -1 = 1 = SQRT2
