Does anyone have an Odessey Sabertooth putter? How do you like it?
It’s funny that I watched most of the US Open and did not realize what putter Rocco was using. I’m replying because I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods today to check out the 2 ball putter. After playing with it awhile I just happened to pick up the Sabertooth. Right away I noticed a difference. I moved it around a bit and it seemed perfectly weighted and stayed straight. It tried other putters but nothing could compare to the feel of the Sabertooth. The closest I could find was the 2 ball SRT which is also a mallet type. I have never felt a putter like the Sabertooth. Of course, I’ve never tried a Scotty either (too expensive for me). But I would buy the Sabertooth in a second – I just need to convince myself that it is worth the money. Tiger would putt better than me with a plastic putter from a miniature gold course, so the club can only do so much. But it is my favorite putter so far; I need one.
