Rich in history, Marvin North Carolina has many wonderful stories and humor to tell. It is transmitted from generation to generation, from Civil War and ends in a battle in pocket watches and hundreds of thousands of dollars, there are many stories that affects Marvin White and black community, then and now.

The story of two wealthy white sisters, Maggie and Sallie Ross, began like any other sisters What other community in North Carolina Marvin. They were supported by a black man, and later by his daughter when she became old enough. These sisters are cousins of the governor at the time, but that's beside the point. The sisters were very nice and I wanted to give the man and his daughter for something when he died, so that the same determination in writing and all I had left home, his immense fortune and three of the five watches for man and his daughter. Before he died, he had built the daughter and her new husband a nice house to live so that the first sister, Sally, who died in 1909 then in 1920, Maggie died, leaving the man and his daughter more than eight hundred hectares of land and a big house and all the little slave cabins. They are the new owners had sisters.

Of course, all premium rate of the sisters had left the wood to protest against the will and I wanted to share the piece 800 acres of land, as they related by blood and thought that the man and his daughter did not deserve a share of house or land. The jury considered that the sisters had reason to treat the man and his daughter as the family and ruled in his favor, allowing them to keep the house and 800 acres of land, including all rooms and three clocks servant.

This is just one of many stories of Marvin, North Carolina. The region is rich in equestrian sports and horses, and for many years. This picturesque village is somewhere in the middle of a country and the most modern surroundings. They managed to walk the line and maintain a great community to move all those who live here and nits here.

Marvin has issued a municipal council ordered a park, greenway and recreation advisory board to preserve rural character, to help establish a sense of community, preserve natural habitats and provide recreational opportunities for natural persons by creating Marvin nature walks. These are the two people walking, biking and hiking and horses.
