What is the best set of Golf Clubs for a beginner left handed?

I want to buy my first set of golf clubs. Golf I was not often too, but I'm pretty athletic and quick learner. I'm not trying to be a professional but I like fun. I used to spend a little more than the average equipment sports, because usually you can get better quality and if nothing else at least makes you safer. I spend about $ 1,000.00 to the clubs and I wonder Why should I buy shoes, bags, gloves, etc. I would also like to know basis when selecting the stick, offset, shaft length, stiffness, etc. could someone summerization for me would be great!

Left-handed but I play well because it was easier for me to learn in this way and club selection is greater. Golfmith has an excellent selection of right and left many clubs. They also have a simulator that tests your golf swing that will help you determine what type of clubs you need. Flex vs Stiff, index, speed etc. Although I am a lady, I have a very fast Swing Speed of 125 mph +, so I need a hard graphite shaft, so we selected a group of men (Nickent). In my opinion, Graphite Shafts are more forgiving than steel. I can play almost every day for three years and changed my game so I'm glad I waited to invest more money to clubs until I understand what my needs are better quality.
