Acrylic Frames ideal for wedding photos

So we are all set for wedding season and what is more than likely the busiest time of year for many wedding photographers. As the great British weather holds up for 2010 many couples will be wed this year and hundreds of thousands of stunning wedding photos will be taken.

Selecting the perfect images for wedding albums can be a daunting task for many newly wed but get even harder when they have to narrow it down for images to frame and display on the wall. Many photographers offer many different types of media for dispalying wedding photos, these include picture frames, canvas prints, foamboard mounts etc.

The latest trend for displaying wedding photos is with acrylic photo frames. Acrylic frames consist of two laser cut sheets of perspex held to together with chrome wall fixings (Standoffs). The laser cut sheets are diamond polished on the edges leaving the highest possible finish.

Wedding images are very popular with acrylic framed prints and this is because the material suits the style of image. Wedding images are always of the highest quality if they have been shot by a professional and for that reason they deserve the highest quality framing method available. The back panel of the acrylic frames comes in many different finsihes which suit modern photography, these include black glossy panels, white, clear and a new styel which is called opal.

White back paneled acrylic frames suit wedding images for obvious reasons and black acrylic panels suit any monotone photography. The new style is the opal panel, this is a semi transparent white panel sometimes referred to as a light diffuser. The opal panel adds a very subtle look to acrylic frames and often looks fantastic with wedding photos. As it is a semi translucent panel it allows light to shine through but blurs the detail of the wall that it is sat on therefore the entire focus is on the image framed within the acrylic.
